Inaugurated and handed over classrooms at Muong Long Primary School 2 (Ky Son)

On the morning of April 16, in Muong Long commune, Ky Son district (Nghe An), Trung Do Joint Stock Company coordinated with the Provincial Red Cross Association to inaugurate and hand over the boarding room to Muong Long Primary School 2.

Attending and witnessing the inauguration ceremony were representatives of Ky Son District People's Committee, Commune People's Committee and more than 200 teachers and students of Muong Long Primary School 2.

The construction of semi-boarding classrooms for Muong Long Primary School 2 was started in early December 2020 and was funded by Trung Do Joint Stock Company through the connection of the Provincial Red Cross Society. The project has a total value of 470 million VND, of which 390 million VND builds 2 semi-boarding houses, 5 self-contained toilets and some other ancillary equipment to serve semi-boarding students worth nearly 80 million VND.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duy Hien - Director of Trung Do Joint Stock Company congratulated teachers and students on having a new school building. Sincere thanks for the companionship and support of Ky Son district and related units to help the construction work on schedule.

This is the heart and affection of the Company to share and support teachers and students in the especially difficult highland Ky Son; I hope teachers keep up the emulation movement to teach well, teach them to overcome difficulties, study and practice to become useful people for the motherland.

At the ceremony, the representative of Ky Son District People's Committee sincerely thanked the generous donors for their sharing and support; At the same time, he said: Due to the large area and limited resources, despite our best efforts, investing and solidifying schools faced many difficulties.

The area of Muong Long commune has 2 primary schools, of which Muong Long 2 Primary School is located in Sa Lay village, about 4 km from the center of the commune, the traveling conditions are extremely difficult. There are 7 permanent classrooms, 5 makeshift classrooms and lack of toilets. The school site has 200 students at 5 years old, of which 79 students study as part-boards. When it has not been built yet, in the rainy season and especially in winter, the learning and accommodation conditions of teachers and students are very difficult.
